Its frigging cold today. I have my heat on 80 and I am freezing to death!! I don't know how you all north of us stand it daily!! I have been out grinching all day, and freezing my nethers off.

Oh- and Hubby came home with a Dimebag Darrel signature Geetar. he didn't know what it was(looked REALLLL COOL, black with lightning) till we got home. Love the geeeetar gallery. Sounds great!

haha... you should see most southern californians. they start b*tching when it gets to 60 degrees. its funny cause when people from up north come down here they wear their sandals and shorts, while the californians are all bundled up. we just havent experienced cold weather lol

I imagine its the same thing as Florida. B) I am an absolute summer person.

On the coldest night of the year----------we had an excellent adventure! I got busy with something, and ordered a pizza.Pizza comes, we turn on the dining room light so we can eat. It goes looking into the sun bright- AND everything else in the house goes dark. Hubby goes to check the breakers in the garage-and the second he touches it it shocks the pee out of him. My neighbor is an electrician, so he came over, and we couldn't figure out wtf. Half the lights wouldn't work- we test the dryer the kitchen light goes off. We test the dishwasher- the kitchen light goes insane. You name it. Meanwhile, as he is testing all the lightbulbs are popping out. (I am out about 20+ 1 flourescent over the sink)........Finally we go outside, and a tree limb has rubbed out the main line to the house from the transformer. Nothing. Here I am thinking OH CRAP my house I adore is going to bonfire itself jeeeezzzzz.

So we call Alabama power......at 7:30. We light up the candles and light a fire.....amuse ourselves (must have been bored, he let me talk about Eleanor). They came after 11, repaired it and we proceeded to unpopsicle ourselves...Its still freaking cold- they are talking white Christmas Super Its 22 here BTW, about 40 degrees out of my comfort zone.

All poor hubby could think about was: I want to play my new guitar(which sounds spectacular btw). All I could think.......Dangit I missed George Lopez and Tivo doesn't have a battery. Everything is A-Ok now!!

My computer Fried this week, and My christmas lights went insane, I wonder if it was the electric cord acting a fool? All week the lights have been flickering, I thought it was just me going slowly mad.

I can honestly say with a total straight face: there is never a dull moment in my life, and if you know me you are never bored when you are around me. .

I do think Alabama power will stick a lump of coal in my Christmas stocking though, I was cold---- and the big story on the news was NO ONE!(that includes me I think) will go cold on the coldest night of the year. Well.........Me and mine did! Even the fireplace didn't help. . All better now, but I want my four hours of nose shivering cold back(with heat please)

Oh and my office is in my basement.....its frigging cold down here WITH HEAT. I don't know how underground creatures handle it. This blows!! I am going to ditch outta here and go to a nice heated mall somplace. Upstairs is boring. No toys up there. (thats the fancy living room where we have people over at  )

22 degrees is about 60 degrees out of my comfort zone. I love it hot (don't ask why I am in Pittsburgh). I don't comlain when it is 100 degrees outside. I just smile and enjoy.

I have live in Pitt for about three years. When I bought the house, the first week it snowed heavily. Then it was just intemitant snow showers for about 40 days and 40 nights (oh thats a different story). What a welcoming party. Check out this picture Water Color 001. It is a real picture of my neighbors bench I took and changed it to water color. That was the day after I moved in. It still snowed while moving in, and continued a lot longer than a few days. I felt like that email about a guy wrote in his diary about the snow.

To top it off, it was below freezing for almost 30 days straight. It was sooooo cold the big mean, tough iron workers would not even work becasue they were cold. Got down to -22 degrees with the wind chill for a few days straight. I was a project manager for some work involving high steel. There was no way I wanted to go out there. But I had to a few times (once a week).

Rumor has it, it will be bad again this year. At least with the new traction control, I was able to pull out of my uphill-driveway in this morning's snow. We get ticketed for parking on the street on my neighborhood. That or they will run it over with their snow plows.

EleanorsMine.... I don't want you ever as a neighbor...ever. Between devious dealers, odd auctions, tatoos from eating franchise food and perplexing power problems...I don't want any of your mojo near my residence!!! :P

Ahh Come on, I have super good mojo

And now that my leetle pink daisies are healed up- they are soooooo pretty. I showed my grandad this weekend, I thought he was going to do a Fred Sanford

I have my car salesman in place- No Devious stuff there, hes spectacular- thats over.

And the dang power company I just think..............I pay my bill, don't freeze me to death. NOTHING on earth is worse than being too cold or sleeping when its cold. I like it a nice 78 year round in my house. Drop below and all hades breaks loose. I am the person who doesn't use the AC in the car, or uses it with the windows down cause I like hot weather.

Even work is keeping me hoppin!
