Cold Poolwater SUCKS!
I like it Gulf of mexico temp or better.

Ahh Summer-
Ice Cream Men(two of em, good humor and Popsickle) And all the swimming pool I can handle. I love the pool!!

TRIPLE DIGIT HEAT: Birmingham's high yesterday was exactly 100 degrees, the first time the city has reached triple digits since August 29, 2000. Here are some other high temperature reports from around Alabama yesterday: 101 at Desoto State Park and Pinson, 100 at Auburn, Dothan, Evergreen, and Tuscaloosa, 99 at Anniston and Troy, and 98 at Calera, Decatur, and Huntsville.

First day of summer here in Corning, New York typical:
Humid Hot and Sweaty all day long and now it's a pouring thunderstorm.
Well at least it's a good light show to watch!

Why you don't like to go for a cruise in the heat ? I guess I'm lucky here if I get too hot on goes the scuba gear and I jump in the Ocean ! That works.

Yesterday it was so hot the poor AC in the house and Ellie had to work overtime!

Water restrictions have been put in place. I can only water on Tuesday and Friday now or $500 comes out of my pocket. Ellie is filthy, and I have a botainical garden in my yard.
I wish it would rain!!!!!!

We've had awesome storms each afternoon for the past two days. Lots of rain and lots of thunder and lightning.

Sorry April, but you need to live closer to the river.. our water comes from there so no restrictions for us. If that thing dried up, we'd have more problems than water plus all the rain we've gotten is great.

I live ten frickin miles from Lay Lake and the Coosa River! Calera is just stupid for drawing water from Alabaster who has no water instead of tapping into that.

We had PLENTY of lightning and thunder- just enough to keep the pool closed, but just a trickle of rain. Oh and it has the ***** to sunshine while thats happening.

Argh. Everything needs water now! My poor garden.

I tempted fate. The trick said no OUTSIDE watering......

They didn't say you couldn't fill up a 3 gallon bucket INSIDE and water stuff.

When I go bike to work at 5/5:30 AM I see all of the monkeys breaking the no watering after like 5AM rule with thier sprnklers. I think its only Wednesdays and fridays or something though. They do it anyway almost every day regardless.

It RAINED!!! My flowers got a drink.

Summer in Bama is best described as swamp heat. When its 89 here, the humdity will make you miserable.

Whereas down on the coast- its dry heat. I like dry heat!

I neglect to mention it rained for ONE afternoon.
What the frick does one do for fun when the pool begins to seem like more of a chore than a pleasuse?

I'm scared of the responsibility........AKA- it would turn into a frog pond long before I got use out of it before it began to bore me.

But on the bright side- my kids are house trained and no one would poo in it. I hate kids(that do not belong to me).
