Christmas goodies

My daughter sent me a Christmas parcel that I was allowed to open for the food items in it and along with a bag of dark choclate peanut m&ms, a cherry pound cake was a pan of nanaimo bar. mmmm

I'm craving my mothers angel crisp cookies that she learned to make from my grandmother. A butter based cookie encrusted in a baked on sugar coating that only gets better after a day or two.

She only makes them at Christmas and even then only about once every 5 years. I hope she makes them this year.
