I Haven't Forgotten
Maybe I missed it, but I haven't seen a thread mentioning 9/11. I've been at work and school (31 y/o, back in college) today and haven't posted up previously.
God bless America, those and the families of who lost their lives 7 years ago today, and especially those men and women who have given their lives and continue to risk their lives to protect the freedoms and lives in the United States of America.

+1, I'll never forget where I was or what my first thought was that day. And walking into my home at the end of school, and the look on my dad's face. I think sometimes we all lose sight of what's really important in life; and 9.11.01 is one of the two things I think about when I need to put stuff in perspective. May this never happen again, and bless you all

We must never forget, or allow those who we lost and those who have given their everything in war to not be forgotten. I know its cliche people, but freedom is not free, and I can barely sleep at night knowing that men and women out there love their country so much that they are willing to give their lives for our defense and our freedom. God Bless the innocents who were murdered 7 years ago, and God Bless the families of those who seek to make sure this never happens again.

Is anyone watching/watched the History Channel? its a few hours of raw footage from hundreds of cameras. Nothing from the news
Looking back on it now, there is so much I did not comprehend about that day. I'd been thinking about it all day, but this special on the History channel really rbings it back. I rememer my morning. I remember being a typical kid and not understanding a thing. Nothing really made any sort of impact on me that morning
i saw footage from under the rubble... you couldnt see anything, just bluured lights... smoke...
all you could hear were screams and people pounding on things.
I sure as **** am not going to forget this day :usa:

I remember. I won't forget. I can't forget. Even now, whenever I see footage of the attacks, especially the sirens and the videos of the second tower collapsing, the hair on my arms stands straight up. I may not have been there, but I feel, that in some small way, my heart was.
