Has anyone played this game yet? I know a lot of you are PS2 folks but i gotta tell ya... HALO 2 makes the $150 for the consule worth it. Especially considering i bought the consule when it frist came out for hundreds more than that (stinker). Anwho, this game is unreal. Anyoine out there with XBOX live?

 

I played it. I loved it. Going to get XBOX live soon.

I am not going to ruin it for anyone who hasn't, but hide anything breakable right before the end. I was kind of frustrated.

 

My kids got it Tuesday night and have almost finished the campaign.
The youngest one gets up at 5:30 am so he can play it before school!

(Thanks for the warning--I'll hide all the breakables when they get near the end.)

 

Isn't that funny. If you want him to wake up at 5:30 he won't, but tempt him with the game, and you can't keep him in bed.

 

The game is awesome! IT has everything that was missing from Halo 1

 

My boys just showed me the final cut scene.

I now understand the warning and all I can say is "WHAT THE.....!" :notnice: :bang:

...But they still rate it as the best X-Box game yet!!!

 

Half-Life 2 is going to own all over Halo 2. PCGamer gave it a 98% and called it "arguably the best game ever made." Got my Pre-order in and I will be playing it Tuesday night.

Did you guys finish the game in normal or legendary? Just wondering ig there is more to the ending in legendary.

So I guess we should start waiting for Halo 3 after that ending. I din't quite get that part at the end of the credits. Has Cortana gone rogue?

 

I didn't get Halo2 yet. I bought the X-box a few years back just for the first Halo though. Never finished it. I just started playing it again though!

 

TO MUCH CRAZE! ive played it, liked it, never wanna buy it. Its not what what i thought it was gunna be. I was looking for greatest game of all time (like it was made out to be!)and all it felt like to me was an upgraded version not to mention the crappy cinamatics! the Xbox cant even load the graphics as quick as the movies playem, Its sad! but gameplay is awsome and is a great multi player game. so i give it a 7.5. it would of been a 9.5 if it werent for the years waiting getting trailers and building up the exitment when i had more fun playing mario 64.

 

can anyone PM me and tell me what happens? I don't own an Xbox and don't plan to although I got into the first one at a friends house... anyone?

The game makes a lot more sense if you read the 3 Halo books in the series. It's really cool knowing where the Master Chief came from and how he came to be. As for Halo 2, it's a really good game. For campaign, I'd stick with Halo 2 (although the elite missions BLOW). For multiplayer, I'm more of a Halo 1 guy. Put the pistol in one hand, sniper rifle in the other and I've won many 4 on 1 matches. All in all it lived up to the hype.
