I was told by a tatoo artist friend that the alcohol acts like thinner and the ink will smear, kinda like its on wet paper...

[/b][/quote]Thats true alcohol does act like a thinner. Will make you bleed more, and the ink won't stick. No good tattoo studio would give a drunk person a tattoo anyways.
Out off all the work I have had done, I've never thought the pain was too unbearable......Getting work done on the ribs though that might be another story.
