 Even if the pic were less fuzzy, I couldn't come closer than to guess early 50's. But a six letter badge gets me closer to the ballpark (and it ain't a Humber Snipe). The cars in the background give us a clue, but nothing comes to mind yet.

If you look at our user profiles, you'll see that I am by far the oldest member playing this game. Unlike most of the rest of you, I have actually seen a lot of these older cars and even driven a few. That you are actually interested in this, and know--for the most part--what you are talking about, really impresses me.

Keep at it guys while I try to figure this one out. Alzheimers is a bi*#&.

Fiat Topolino? Just a guess.

Does that car have a rotary engine?

No-one?

It's a 1958 NSU Prinz.

Quote from some site or another!

Fresh from its "divorce" from Fiat German manufacturer, NSU, launched its new minicar, the Prinz. The NSU Prinz was developed throughout its 1957-62 career, passing through mark 1,2 and 3 versions, all being progressively better!

The tiny NSU featured a saloon body with a very upright roof line and seating for four people. The noisy twin cylinder engine was located at the rear where it drove the back wheels via a "crash" gearbox (later versions thankfully gained synchromesh).

Jason, since I jumped in, it is your turn again

James--thanks for the memories. My parents had a black NSU Prinz in Yokohama Japan in the early 60's. until the battery under the back seat seat caught fire and the car went up in flames.

Jason, give me a moment for your car. Vintage late 60's, early 70's. I just glanced at the pic and thought Cougar or Pontiac, but I want to be sure before I try to name it.

On second thought, I thinks its an Oldsmobile. I'll be back.
