Panther Solo!!
In 1989/ 90, Panther stopped production of the Kallista to concentrate on the Solo, carbon fibre body, 4 wheel drive, 2litre Cosworth engine. Debatably 14-21 made in all, after which Panther stopped manufacture in the UK.
Nice job. That picture as awful in terms of trying to identify, but good from a posters perspective!!

If you have a car go ahead and post. I don't really have one in mind right now.

As I am going to bed now, you can have the answer (the 12 hour limit will be up while am dreaming sweet dreams!).
Evil, you were SOOOOOOO close. It is a Lotus CARLTON ! I know you will hate me for not giving you Omega, but they were originally designed here and only called Omega for the continental market!!
So, it is someone else's turn!

Just out of interest, the Solo killed the Panther brand. They were charging around $90k for this car. No-one bought it, but the company put $1.5m into the design.
To another, now bankrupt, British sports car company, I salute you :usa:
(p.s. Please replace Stars and Stripes with Union Jack for this post only! Brad, Pleeeeaaasseeee can the British contingent (me and anyone???.....) on this board have a similar smiley?

Yeah, shoots about Panther. I read that the name has been bought and we may see a "new" Panther inthe future.

Yep, The Carlton was originally designed by Vauxhall (Pronounced VOX-ALL, part of GMC). On the continent, Vauxhall's were all called Opel's (the french couldn't pronounce Vauxhall, but....... ). So, we called it
Lotus Vauxhall Carlton (RHD)
On the Continent it was :
Lotus Opel Omega (the name Omega is now used here for their executve car) (LHD)
As for the Panther name, goes well with the Cougar and the Puma doesn't it!!
There you go, I can be useful at times!!!
