I find it interesting (and a little bit nutty) how defensive people get when you criticize the iphone.

Never had to replace my iPhone, my current 5 has a decent size gash ( it's aluminum) from when I last dropped it ( more like flung it), about 5 feet in the air and it scrapped across the concrete floor. As for expensive, meh, aren't the S4 like 6-700 for a new one without a contract?

I could use either honestly, just get tired of the "techies" talking about all the dumb **** their phone can do, it's a phone use it as such.

Also I've dropped mine a few times, no problems, guess I got a golden iPhone 5.

Whose getting defensive? I just don't get why people mention breaking and price, when they all break, and are about the same price.

This just in, if you don't take care of your purchase, it just might break........weird.......
But it shouldn't have to be "fixed". It's supposed to work right out of the box.

Right, it's all preference; don't tell me about how you can use your android as a flashlight.

Life isn't always that simple den, with iPhone it normally is but no ones perfect. I believe if you join the network under "other" it will auto connect afterward.

No, it's something with the way Apple programs them, I can't remember what it is right now, a co worker and I were discussing it a while ago, something with open networks, or something like that.

Two identical iphone 5's in the house. Both set up exactly the same. One stays connected, one doesn't. But we've been through all this before.

And I can use my Android as a flashlight... on both sides of the phone!

If it's the router, then why would one iphone 5 work perfectly on it while another identical iphone 5 doesn't?

Don't think so, the reason I gave that solution was because I had the same problem when I first got my 5.
