Sounds like the download only patches the old firmware and installs the new features.
Android is still better...



On a different note installed server version of Linux on an old pc I had and I'm learning how to use "putty" to control it remotely.

We have a client that uses putty to run some of their software and its the biggest headache for us

Well the problem we have is a third party software company came in and set it all up, no documentation on it at all and now they are out if business. This was before we took over thier IT and frankly had we been involved it wouldn't be nearly as bad.

On a plus note I quoted out a 35k server for a client yesterday. Dell t620, 2 600gb 15k sas drives, 4 200gb ssd drives, 768gb of ram, dual socket with Xeon 6core hyper threaded CPUs, that's right 24 virtual cores. Man I hope they buy it cause I'm itching to set it up

Do your research and see how bad the market is saturated first before jumping.
