I paid $3.14 per gallon for 93 this morning. The word is out that gas is rising again and prices haven't reached the max yet. I may be hitting my personal "strategic reserve", the 87 perf tune, quicker than expected.

Update from Canadaland!

$3.70 USD/gal here, and $4.25 out west a couple hours. Add about 35c/gal for premium.

My *** still hurts from filling up this morning...

$2.85 here! I haven't bought any for a few days, so it doesn't help me much!

$1.069 per litre. 4.65 litres in a gallon. 1.069 x 4.65 = $4.97 per gallon in Edmonton, Alberta. What is really absurd is that the oil comes out of the ground in Alberta so you would naturally think Albertans would get a break.....no such luck in this country especially since we are tied into OPEC.

it is indeed high and a major burdon on those who need to use a lot of it .. if i fill up my toys and count what i use daily i spend eaisly 100 bucks a week on gas .. but i could stop cruising and get by on perhaps 50 bucks a week.. i`m still happy to pay 3 bucks to ride 25 miles on each gallon rather than walk

Unfortunately, my Mustang GT is my economy car. Seems to get about 18mpg around town. My other vehicle is an 02 GMC Yukon. Last week filled it up at $2.99/gal for regular unleaded. I'm sure here in Phoenix regular unleaded will hit $3.50/gal by the end of the summer.

And I'm sure they are so sad for us having to pay so much for gas....there is noooothing they can do about it, it is all out of their hands. Biggest scam in history. Ever.

If they would build another refinery, gas prices would go down. Think they want to do that? No, that wouldn't help their bottom line since we will still have to buy the gas.

looks like the oil company wants some of the irrational exhuberance from real estate and the internet boom

barrel of oil is $61 today and they blame it on refinery. No katrina, earthquake, iran, iraq,. I am so stupid.

I heard somewhere that current refineries weren't even running at 100%.

The one I work at isn't but that's because we're going into a major turnaround in 5 days.

You're using imperial gallons and canadian dollars, not a good comparison. it's 3.78 liters to a US gallon not 4.65.
