*chants* SVO... SVO.... SVO....
An SVO would be awesome... but I would feel bad driving it everyday knowing that it is a collectable, and other people garage it

Saw an ad from someone selling an SVO engine and a complete f/r suspension - I wonder if those would bolt into a 4-cyl. 87-93 (K-member) chassis. That way, you could have an SVO w/out the worry about it being a collectable. Would make a nice project. Too bad the parts are in Hawaii!

I drive my collectable everyday Lalo

Keep in mind they are cars, and cars that are not driven, despite rarity, specialty or collector status, may as well be in the boneyard.

I hang my head in shame when I find out a pristine car at a show was trailered there

I get 30mpg on the hwy at 75mph

In the city... half that.

st06vert, all (Ford) dealers ADM's here are crazy. It's the main reason why I decided they don't need my money and wound up with another 5.0 Mustang.

Currently seems like Oahu gas prices aren't as high as other places - yet! Can't say the same for the other islands... Not to worry, I'm sure we'll reclaim the title sooner rather than later!

I think the dealer expect you to wear formal attire to deal with them. I walked in there with wife and kids just wearing short. It took us 15 minute before someone tend to us. The person was not even enthusiastic talking to me about the Parnelli jones in the showroom.

Your gas was cheaper when I was there last month. Especially costco!
Gas in the mainland was climbing up for no reason here and the barrell of crude oil was 58. Of course the gas company will tell you differently.
Its a gouge!!! Love POKE by the way.

Buy a turbocoupe, add a t3 or holset turbo and fmic and up the boost - lots of fun, not as rare as an svo (which i would drive everyday, i wouldnt care that much)

Saw an ad from someone selling an SVO engine and a complete f/r suspension - I wonder if those would bolt into a 4-cyl. 87-93 (K-member) chassis
They will, but theres not really any reason to swap the front suspension, since an SN95 brake upgrad would be just easy, and you can use ANY ford wheel, unlike the SVO stuff. The rear is a five lug disc brake, trac-loc rear end, but its a 7.5, which is fine for even a turbo ford, but do a 5.0 swap and it wont last long

Lalo you should totaly buy a 4 cyl fox. Leaves it open for a 8cyl swap in the future.

Lalo, you could always swap in a turbo!!

Lots of lalo related quotes in there

Gas is 2.42 for 87, and thats some of the cheapest, others are 2.46-2.48

Why do Californians always have to get ripped off when it comes to gas prices?
