Heres a design I've been working on for the Slydeways Institute Design Competition on the Forza 2 forums....I hope I win it cuz' its worth 20 million credits and I am currently poor

I like the stylized drifting car you came up with. Looks old school yet still modern!

Here's the final rendition of the Shelby CS8.. at least I am pretty tired of looking at it at this point. Darn custom logos take a while to make.. the Falken logo still looks like crap, I think making it somewhat big and then shrinking it down must have been a mistake.

I love it thats freaking perfect!! Now how do I get it? And how do I transfer the design over to a gt500? Also what's this contest that was mentioned you get 20mil..... thats a freaking insane amount of money. I can't seem to ever break 20k it seems I always end up buying parts. I hate being that broke but I haven't found a way to make quick easy cash yet. Anyway thanks again for all the help!

HEY! I take that personal lol. I've been playing racing games since I was 10 and I would think with over 15 years of experience my skills are pretty decent. Now that said I have not played in quite awhile and have only had a xbox360 for a 2 months now. So I must admit I am a tad rusty and most of this is fairly new. What I am finding beyond fascinating is learning the basics of tuning these cars it's taking me forever but it's freaking awesome how realistic this has become. My days of GT1/GT2 seem like antiquated pieces of **** ROFL.

I only play on my friends game once in a while since i don't own it myself. But we play on hard difficulty with all the assists off with the exception of abs.

And we havn't really had to buy many parts at all. If we buy parts cause you do have to now and then we stick with some mild suspension and tires. and sometimes we need an extra 10-30hp. his game has like $200k now.

**** you are putting me to shame I typically play on hard difficulty too with most of the assists off but I usually have to put a good 10k into a car to be able to win it. usually its a pretty decent bump in order for me to win fairly quick (usualy 1-2 attempts). I'd make it more difficult but it would require tons more time and I don't see the point really plus because of work I typically don't have more then an hour to play a night.

Buck check the Forza 2 forums. They have people putting up huge amounts of money for design request. I have a 150,000cr right now but I raced a enduro race...I also race the pro class tourmanent races, they provide you with lots of money and a sizable bonus at the end

There is a money glitch in the game that still hasn't been addressed so people have an infinite amount of in game cash to spend. Basically, the economy is screwed up because of it. The ultra rare unicorn cars regularily go for 60 million credits just goes to prove that the economy is upside down. I think I have 2M credits right now but unless you use the AH then they are worthless and since the AH is basically broken due to the money glitches, I stay away from it.

Ok that sounds good. Will the design be locked or unlocked? Just wondering because I was going to put it on my gt500. I'll be on around 4:30 - 5 central time (I'm in Texas). Also thanks a ton for this.

I was going to lock it in case I wanted to sell a couple on the AH later. You can always gift me your GT500, I'll slap the paint scheme on it and AH it back to you.

what do u guys do with all of your cars? I have tons that only sell for like 100 gold that I've won in races. You do anything with these? I could use a way to make money off these you got any ideas?
