I did a few times, until my parents put a stop to it. My mom still brings it up every now and again. I told my wife, when our kids are old enough, I am sure they will do the same. (Just not in my Mustang. They can do it in her car.)

Yeah, my sister or my best friend and I would do that with my parents '70 Nova SS. Dad would get a little upset because we would tear the window seal or door upolstery. When I was older it became my first car and if I knew it then I wouldn't have done it! I'm surprised we didn't get into more serious trouble fooling around inside the car not knowing how to really operate it.

I voted that the duke boys would be proud, but you really should have put "still do" as an option.

Hahaha.
I don't think I would be limber enough to do that anymore.

Actually, I am going to try tonite, in my sunbird, in my garage, where nobody can see me. I'll let you know how it works out....

I remember doing it, My dad went ballistic, I thought he was going to kill me! (well, I did scratch the drivers door....). My sister (in true solidarity) told my dad that if he didn't want me jumping through the windows, he should not leave them open!

Well, I learned a couple of things last night:
1.) The duke boys were were much more limber than I am.
2.) There must be more room in the front seat of a charger, than there is in a pontiac sunbird.

I did it once with my sister's Montie Carlo, I was at her house once and I turned to my brother in law after watching a Nascar race. I asked him what it was liked and so he opened the driver's window and with his help climbed in and out.

On another time while I had my '67 Mustang I did it. The passiner's door latch wasn't very good and it was hard to open and you'd need to slam it shut. so one night I find the door was stuck I decided to climb over the door.. (the top was down at the time)

one time, my arm got stuck, cuz my dad put the windows up (power windows) in his Caddy Cimeron and my hand got stuck and it hurted. real bad. but that car had tan leather and it was maroooon so it was ok anyway. oh! and the door locks had this little orange sticker, REALLY BRIGHT ORANGE mind you, that you could only wee when the doors were unlocked.

i liked that car
