For those of us along the eastern seaboard, lets see some pics from the snow storm this weekend! Here are some of mine (keep in mind my snow pics suck).

This is suburb in Virginia just south of DC. Snow started coming down 8PM friday night:

I'll make sure to snap some good ones in the morning. It started snowing about 2 hours ago here.

 

Fort Worth,Tx snow storm a couple weeks ago. People here would freak out with as much snow as y'all are getting.

Thanks, I hate this point and shoot I have. I'm saving for a D3000, then I can get some good shots.

 

Its no prob. Yeah I guess that is a camera you are talking about saving up for. I might have to get into and get more info on them and then possibly get one. I am thinking I will need a good quality camera for when I take pics of cars that I work on and finish.

BTW Awesoem house too I am soo jealous.

Jim, check out www.kenrockwell.com . He's got all sorts of reviews on cameras, tips on how to use them, etc. He says the D3000 is the worst DLSR Nikon's ever made. If I were you, I'd get a D40 or save up for a D5000

 

Hey, thanks for the info. I was going to grab a D40 but my understanding was the D3000 had replaced it. Right now I can get some pretty good deals on the D40 from amazon.com.

 

I can only think of my brother freezing his butt off in RI when I see those pics. Brrr! Spoke to him before he went out to get supplies before the snow started dumping. Looks nice at night though. Kinda want to eat a snow cone now... lilikoi, melona, and fruit punch mmmmm....

 

That's not a snow storm. That is just a typical snow day around here

 

Oh, I know. I'm from the Syracuse area originally. But DC has no infrastructure for dealing with this.
