More than likely, Ford already contributes to many other worthy causes. If they can also sell a few more by helping fight discrimination, more power to them.
yeah, I've never heard anything of any donations to anyone. I wonder if certain AFA members just sit at a computer all day looking for things to boycott. I'm sure Ford donates to many causes.

Ford grew to become the giant company that it was without specifically supporting the homosexual lifestyle or advertising in homosexual magazines. Ford has now decided that they should do the political thing. The stockholders and employees will live with the decision of Ford management.

Everyone makes choices on who they want to support. Sometimes there is a price to pay. Some who speak out for moral causes are subject to ridicule. When it is time for me to replace the 06 Mustang that I love, I will have to make a choice. Maybe all car companies will be promoting the homosexual lifestyle instead of focusing on making a good car for the money. I certainly hope that they will focus on cars and not politics.

Maybe groups like that should go after (the) dealers who practice "financial sodomy" aka AMV/bend-over-and-pay/etc. instead. Greed happens to be one of the mortal sins - and they're pretty brazen about it (e-bay, for instance)!

seiously, as a Christian...and as a promoter of it via Christian radio...these "militant" Christians give us a bad name. I understand thier point...but they always go about it the wrong way and make me look like an idiot becuase I am made "guilty by association." This is what is holding Christianity back in this country.

I didn’t realize that the previous thread was that old.

I just sent a letter to the Ford CEO saying basically the same thing after receiving an email from a Christian friend. I searched the Mustang Source Forum this evening to see if there had been any discussion on the subject.

I don't know the backstory but as a Christian i think that these groups often make the majority of Christians look foolish . If I boycotted every Company that I thought may support unethical behavior than I would lead an interesting life....bye bye Coca Cola....etc.

I think this stuff should be dealt with on a personal level.... if you feel that strongly about it don't buy it....but don't band together to get media coverage and look like an idiot

Now if Ford started putting rainbow badges on thier cars and showing gay kissing in there commercials that would be different:gay:

Don't worry, you'll soon be getting Ford's letter of apology and a promise that your concerns will receive immediate attention.

well i wait ever since i first read this, for sombody to say that ford is givving speacial attention to women, with giving funds to breast cancer research and all, its sorta like..the idea that america, is full of hypocrites and drama fenes, they thrive on complaining on small things while all along not getting the big picture, although im not personaly a homosexual, i know people who are, they are here to stay and i really dont have a problem with them, i guess because im still a younger guy i can grasp that a little bit better, not to say older people are against it, but im sure everybody understands what im saying, its no big deal if ford sponsors them or not,im mean WE ARE AT WAR!!! and your worried if a company is willing to make posters and promises to sell more product?????i think the real crooked people are the ones who cant see past thier own nose because their smug is so thick...done ranting for now, and if sombody has somthing negative about my post, have at it, im all for free speach...but this is just a forum..right? thanks all for reading, have a nice day
