I can't bleive you have never driven in snow. In chicago we get some good days of snow driving. Its not that bad, just take it easy slow and brake super early so you don't slide into the next car.

 

i think we will be at fort devin, is there anything to do there.

 

well it does not snow alot in south mississippi, even though talking to friend there is a chance of flurrys at home tonight. i went to bootcamp in great lakes in january of 87 , that was nasty cold there. thanks for the driving tips MR Knight.

 

I'm not familiar with that area, but based on where it is, you may not find much. You're about an hour away from Boston though.

 

here is the little plane we flew on , from harrisbug to newark nj, that was a real bumby ride. even the big plane we took from newark to boston was rough, the guy in front of me was barfing. well i go home tomorrow so we have to go through this all over again, boston is expecting a big storm , so i hope i get lucky and dont get stuck in an airport all day.

well finally leaving ft devins tomorrow, will be in manchester ,ct. anybody from that area, hopefuully theres more to do there.

I'd take snow over the humidity and extreme weather ya'll have any day!

 

after spending time up here , i wont be able to handle the heat anymore when i get back home, im starting to get used to the cold.

 

You hit it on the head exactly...you just get used to things! Even though we have snow here, I've personally never driven in Chicago/Minnesota levels of snow. I'd be scared too. Round here, stuff closes down when it snows so I just stay inside like a bug in a rug

 

Good thing you're starting to like the cold... it's gonna get worse!

 

yea, im getting prepared to stay indoors too, just bought a small dvd player, 18 pack of bud light, bottle of gentleman jack & a few movies.

 

that sucks, its 66 degrees at home. even worse the national guard shop we will be working in has no heat, hey u gotta love it.
