Well, at least you didn't have to deal with traffic congestion or distractions common in other places.

I ca uderstand how you'd feel James , I for one love it I grew up in the prairies in Saskatchewan and we had some snow could get an easy 12 inches in a few hours , when one is accustomed to driving in it you learn a lot of things good as well bad getting stuck in the middle of no-where & not knowing whats around or being prepared is Hazardous, so at least always keep an emegency kit type stuff & warm clothing in case for those time. sorry to ramble on Ed.

+1 on the emergency kit.
I have had to live with snow for over 50 years.
Sometimes you just have to go slow, sometimes you gotta put the chains on.
Experience does help. I love passing 4X4s stuck in the snow with my 2WD Ranger.

It doesn't look that bad. Unless you drove teh stang. I'd rather be in a 4X4.

I don't know how much we got, but it's enough to cover the ground. Now it's only 17* out.

Welcome to my world. Most people get use to driving in that stuff but some never do. Just be glad you could still see the road. Most of the times where I live you don't see asphalt for months.

Massachusetts? I'll be lookin' for ya!

The weather here goes from one extreme to another. Monday and Tuesday it was cold and we had wind chills down to the single digits. Today, Wednesday, it's windy, rainy, and 60 degrees!
