The phone part for me hasn't been a problem yet. Reception seems decent, and I've carried on several long conversations with it, though I do tend to switch over to the headphones or bluetooth headset if the call is going to be more then a few minutes.
The solid web browser in it is probably what I like the best. It's a mobile browser done right, where they realize the entire web isn't going to make mobile sites, so they made it render desktop sites properly.
I also have my work e-mail on it now, though this is a mixed blessing. While it's cool to have easy access to it, I had to delete the work account off of it when I went on vacation to stop paying attention to things that didn't need to concern me. But thats a general curse of any crackberry/other smartphone user.

I hear some people are getting absolutely crushed with roaming charges on vacation for hundreds, even thousands of dollars.
I'll stick to my LG VX8700, the most beautiful phone ever made
With 4 gigs I can keep plenty of MP3's and what-not, if I ever got that bored that I felt a need to use a phone for something other then phone calls that is..

It's just very nice to be connected all the time. I have my University e-mail account set up on my iphone, I love the maps application, and having the internet at all times is amazing. If I'm at work and I have to pick up something, like party supplies, google maps comes in sooo handy.
And having my ipod and phone in one is very convinient. As a student I NEED my music when walking around campus.
Yeah and maddox hates anything popular.

People were having trouble with the bill statements cause they track and show every single different kilobyte. so when you surf for a min on the web you create like a whole page transaction of data page. i think att is working on or maybe they have already fixed it.
Haven't gotten my first bill yet, but I did get an e-mail from AT&T saying they had changed the statements, and that if I wanted to see the detailed info I would have to log in to my account online.
So far things I don't like about it is sending and receiving pictures, and viewing and editing the recent calls lists. Can't do any of that. But I love the wifi access, and I'm using it instead of my shuffle now, and am migrating all my data off of my old Palm, so I'll just carry around one device soon.
