it was awful, especially since I was dumb enough to put it 8am every day, because that's when my HS started, so I figured what's the difference?

I had 8:30 classes my freshman year. Never again.

I didn't even have any classes on campus last semester. I don't plan on anything before 10:30 again.

^+1 to that brother, I'd rather have a 6-9 Tuesday class, than 830 every morning; but then, it might be a little different waking up at 8 on the west coast, because of the sun being up, etc

I dunno what it is about "early" classes... Even my 9 oclock one id make it to maybe half of them at the most, and in the summer i really dont have any trouble getting up at 6 to go to work. While light might have a bit to do with it, its definitely not the majority, since even at the end of school its **** near impossible to force myself out of bed at 8 and then a week later im good getting up hours earlier.

Gotta be just that youve actually got a choice about going to class or not...

idk, some mornings ive actually been so tired, I reached over and turned off my alarm, and didnt even know it; I never had a problem getting up at 6-7 during high school to go to class, but it's a struggle to make it up at 10 sometimes

I have two at 830 next year, and I can't move them. Its a day long class *sigh* That means I have to get up around 6 to get to school on time (commute)
