Powers Boothe. He played Jim Jones in some TV movie years ago, so that tells you pretty much everything you need to know about where his character is probably headed.

For a new twist this year, I'm going out on a limb (pick up on the sarcasim) that Jack is going to end up killing his father later in the season.

He'll end up finding out his dad was behind the stuff after all, along with killing his brother, and he'll cap him. It'll end up being one of the top 3 most dramatic moments in the six years of the show. The other two
being Terry's death and David Palmer's assassination.

 

That's a given though. Jacks Dad has the crosshairs on him.

I can't see any other twists, unless the VP or that slimy jerk harms the new Prez Palmer.

Tom Lennox begins to doubt his usefulness in the administration and he plans on resigning. Reed Pollack speaks with Tom and convinces him to stay for awhile longer because it appears that Reed has a shady and mysterious plan in the works. Reed calls someone else who is involved in the plan. Reed makes it clear that Palmer will be removed and that they need Tom to stay in his current position until their agenda is fulfilled. Tom can’t believe what he is doing, but nonetheless, he does it.

There will be a substantial twist involving a double crossing and Morris will be involved. There will be a death here as well.

President Palmer asks Assad to make an announcement on national television that could save thousands of American lives, but Assad refuses.

Well that wasn't as spectacular as I had hoped it would be!

Same ole stuff- Oh no a building Jack was in blew up again this season!

I am guessing they are laying plans to screw up or kill the president?

 

When Jack went into the house on Hardy Ave, I said to my wife - "Just wait, I'll bet either there's a bomb and the house blows up, or the girl gets kidnapped." 5 minutes later, BOTH happened.

 

'Cept the girl didn't get kidnapped. She and Milo are on the run.

 

The previews for next weeks episode looks KILLER, now that Jack finally found out that his father is dirty!!

Don't get me wrong, I still love the show, but the twists are a little easier to anticipate after watching for all these years.

 

I have to agree. I watched the season 5 dvd just before the start of this season and it is just more of the same.

 

Hmm Predictability:
Chloe is mad at something, Jack gets blown up by something, One of the Presidents Aides is dirty,Someone in CTU is a butthole,Someone close to Jack is in Danger..........Do something different already.
Speaking of Grahams kid belonging to Jack:
Of course, there is no way the kid is 20 and last Ep she said she loved him 20 years ago.

 

Just bumping it to the top, since tonight Jack learns that his father is the one who tried to kill him! Can't wait for 9 pm !!
