OK, just watched the first four episodes of season six.

Pretty good, overall. Without giving away any spoilers, I'll just say that my favorite part of the opening hour is *******************************************

BC... edited .. after having seen it, and because its not aired yet.
I don't want to give ANYTHING away to people.

Especially on 24 where ANYTHING can happen...

Yeah it kinda did...

The reasoning is there are a bunch of rumours a while back about certain situations and certain people etc.
I don't want to give the SLIGHTEST things away for people

What I posted was a "tease", not a spoiler. There's an important distinction between the two.

Now, if I had said, "Jack Bauer dies at the end of episode two," THAT would be a spoiler.

Don't joke. He might. I've got the feeling that by mid way through the season, Jack Bauer dies and Ricky Shroeder takes over his role.

Who's joking?

So how'd YOU hear about the Ricky Shroeder thing, anyway?

24's always had a sence of realism amongst unbelievable circumstances. If Jack doesn't quit carrying the full load on his shoulders, it'll loose that sence of realism. 24's seemed to take unknown actors and make them into stars. There has to be a reason to bring a known actor like Ricky in to the cast. I hope I'm wrong... I think they could come up with someone better than Ricky Shroeder to save the world.

You should have watched Larry King tonight. Full interview with the cast from the set of CTU.

VERY revealing...

Regardless of what they say about no one being safe on the show...
... i think 24 without Jack would make a lot of people stop watching
He does make the show what it is .. along with the supporting cast.

Well, considering that Kiefer has signed for two more seasons, it's a safe bet he will be around for a while. He also has to stick around for at least that long to be in the movie, which is presently being developed. Cause I can guarantee you they won't do the movie without him...if for no other reason than franchise films today never get made without established stars attached to them.

Bottom line: Don't expect Jack Bauer to die anytime soon. It's more likely they'll get us used to Ricky Shroeder then Jack will have to save the world by sawing Ricky's head off with a swiss army knife or something.

Awesome opening hours! I hate that alot of the show has become predictable, to me at least, but they still manage to keep me glued to the chair and wonderign whats going to happen next.

Btw, if you guys post spoilers without putting adequate warnings first, and I read it.......... well....

Of all the ways Jack has killed people, the biting the jugular of the terrorist was nuts!!! Can't wait for tonight to start!!! From the previews, it looks like Jack found the fellow who was wearing the bluetooth earpiece and in contact with Logan, but I could be wrong.
