Ok, Logan wasn't Palmers VP. He was VP to the president who died in Season 4 when Air Force 1 was shot down by the rogue stealth fighter. Logan was then moved up, due to his VP status. The president that was shot down, was the same guy in Season 2 or 3 that blackmailed Palmer into resigning because he had information directly connecting Palmer to the murder of someone, in which it was Palmers wife who was involved, but Palmer knew.


And no, I dont think Logan knows about Walt being involved, but I am guessing he's a crooked and backstabbing as the rest of them.

Yeah his character was a bit out there, I am glad he picked up on the distress code in Jack's communications. I am leary of what crap he's gonna pull once Jack is in CTU for briefing.

 

Something is up with the casting the past 2 seasons. I did not like the acting of Driscoll and now this McGill guy. He is no Ryan Chappelle or George Mason, those guys seemed real believable.

Yea- Sean Astin- His mama was an identical cousin and His Daddy was Gomez Adams. On the fence with his character.

 

I liked his character, truth be told.

Just smart enough and annoying enough to probably be good for a few laughs here and there.

 

Not sure what to make of Martha. She is very similar to Driscolls manic depressed daughter. I think at some point Logan will need to decide between her and his career. They are emphasizing his career alot.

Why is Kim Coming back?

 

Kim is coming back, because she's freaking hot and will increase viewership.

But, I really can't prove my theory at all.

Also, if by "looks like Dick Cheney" you mean "Is Bald" then, yes.

 

What's this about Kim coming back? I didn't see that anywhere. Also did anyone think that Jack turned a little girly when he went to hug the kid? He saw the terrorist hand off the key card. Instead of going to get it or follow the bad guy in the yellow tie, he goes back to have a happy moment with the kid. I suppose if he would have done that, the show would have been called "4" not "24".

 

The yellow tie guy probably slipped out during the firefight so there is nothing Jack could have done anyways as he was still tied up.

 

He slipped out after the first check of the hostages.

 

I was wondering why they let on that Walt Cummings was a bad guy so early on in the season. Now I know why they did this. It will make viewers get all sit-on-the-edge-of-the-seat nervous that we know he is a bad guy and the President, Mike Novek, CTU, Jack, etc, don't know, and we got 20 episodes left (or sooner) for someone to find out Walt is a double agent. This season looks like the best yet. And the nerve agent? Maybe it's VX poison gas. Remember the stuff in the movie The Rock, with Nicholas Cage, and Sean Connery? That is some BAD STUFF!

 

ohh yeah, that was a good movie.

 

Tonight is episode 5 of Jack's newest "very bad day". In the previews from last week, it looks like Sean Astin's character is interrogating Jack, only to be rebuted with Jack saying "I'm not CTU". I can't wait for 9 pm.
