Its something to do with the current president(I think)


Only 22 hours till part 2.

 

Dang I knew I hated Walt. He's in on the whole thing and I'd be willing to bet that Logan is on it as well. Heck, if you remember from Season 3, the president Logan was Vice under, blackmailed Palmer out of the office, so its already in their nature.

Tomorrow night should be interesting. Since Diane and Derek didnt make it to CTU, Bill doesnt know if he should really believe Jack or not, but since he's on the inside, I think it will work out. Hopefully Palmers brother will stay in the mix, he's a good character.

 

Walt last season was in on the 'kill jack' conspiracy as well

From the preview, he's helping CTU...so they aren't going to carry on the 'jacks the assasin' plot for very long.

Ok-
Why was Diane in the car and saw an explosion on the previews, but when the show came on she was out of the car running after her son with no explosion?

And I could swear, unless they are reeeeeeeal GOOD. Jack could prove he was elsewhere when palmer was shot.


And why is the first lady nuts?

The guy who slept with Chloe- why didn't he want them to find her?

All I could say was HOLY *&^% when Palmer got shot!! Then Michelle dying from a car bomb, with Tony in critical condition. WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Lucky for Chloe, that Edgar called her just before she put her keys in her car. Keifer Sutherland wasn't kidding when he said the first 10 minutes would blow you away! Can't wait for tonight.

Jack Bauer = Keifer Sutherland (sp) - X-CTU agent

Frank Flynn = Jack Bauer's alias after he faked his death to avoid being prosecuted by the Chinese, after he lead a raid on their consollete (sp), killing one of their men.

Diane - Frank's girlfriend

Derek - Diane's son.

Michelle - X-CTU agent, and now Tony's wife (RIP)

Tony - X-CTU agent, but loyal friend of Jack's, neither one can stay away from CTU when in need.

Dave Palmer - Former president. Jack was in charge of preventing his assination in a previous season, too bad he wasn't on the job last night.

Chloe - CTU agent, real good with the computer stuff. Wierd, but loyal to Jack.

Edgar - Like Chloe, but fatter and even a little more dorky. Good guy none-the-less.

Logan - Current incompetent president. (OK, I forget - how did he make it into office? Was he Palmer's VP, or someone else's. And what happened to them?)

After Logan authorizes Palmer to take charge of the crisis, Palmer sanctions Jack and Curtis to infiltrate the Chinese Embassy on a covert operation to capture a suspect. Tony and Michelle continue to bump into each other's personal lives, while Buchanan expresses anger at being kept out of the mission. Jack faces Audrey's wrath when a medical dilemma places Paul's life in jeopardy

CTU scrambles to forge an alibi when a Chinese representative produces evidence of American involvement in the raid on their embassy. Audrey gives Jack the cold shoulder, while Palmer and Logan clash over the consequences of Palmer's decisions. Jack and Curtis close in on Marwan as the countdown for the missile launch moves ahead.

Jack finds that his efforts to bargain with Marwan for the location of the missile strike are futile. Heller pushes his son for information when CTU discovers that he may have had contact with Marwan before the attacks. Logan finds himself in the middle of a power struggle between Palmer and the ambitious Speaker of the House. Tony and Michelle explore their rekindled passion for each other, but their hopes for the future may be short-lived when a familiar player enters the game and takes a hostage.

Mandy uses Tony as leverage to try to force Michelle to aid in her escape. A Chinese security operative captures and interrogates one of the CTU agents involved in the raid on the embassy. Palmer and Logan argue over the option of evacuating all major cities that may be targets for the missile.

As the missile speeds toward its destination, Mandy cuts a deal with Jack and the President to give up Marwan's location in exchange for a full pardon on all of her crimes. Tony and Michelle share a happy reunion, but Jack finds his relationship with Audrey shattered as she makes her feelings known. Logan's advisor suggests a drastic course of action when the Chinese government demands that Jack be handed over to them for trial. Palmer tries desperately to warn Jack of the danger against him. Jack's life changes forever as Tony, Michelle and Chloe help him to evade the trap set for him by Secret Service

Now, I'm like the #1 fan of this show and all, but doesn't this plot seem a little famaliar to some of us?

 

Yeah they are in a rut somewhat, but I know they are gonna bring twist into it. Especially since Jack isnt officially apart of CTU.

Its reminding me of season 4 right now at the end of the 4th hour.

Btw, its Nerve gas according to Mike in the preview for next week.
