Hey Pete (boomer), its almost time again man!!

Its going to have a 4 hour season Premiere, 2 hours on Sunday Jan 15th 8/7c and then 2 hours Monday, Jan 16th 8/7c. '

I bought season 4 and having to play catchup since i quit watching last season due to missing an episode or 2. Also in the DVD is a prequel to season 5 that is supposed to tie the 2 seasons together. I'm seriously looking forward to this one!

I got the DVD set a week before it was SUPPOSE to come out (walmart messed up)
And got to watch the 'prequel'

Its 13 minutes prior to when the show starts, and explains a bit of where Jack is etc.... and its got a COOL car chase....

I don't want to say anymore to ruin your S4 viewing pleasure

Im averaging 4 episodes of S4 right now per night. Last night, the Stealth had just launched an air to air and hit AF1. Anj and I were cussing cause we had to get some sleep, but wanted to watch the next one.

I was really happy to see Tony back and i knew they would bring Michelle back in, it was a given. Has made for interesting tension.

 

oh yes...THAT episode.

I think that was the one they showed twice in the same week because it was SO suspensful and people missed it because of something.... (can't remember)

Anywho, how is this show guys. I've been interested in seeing it but always miss it. I have Netflix, is it worth renting?

I gotta tell you though, you really need to sit down and watch teh show from season 1. Each season intertwines with each other and builds off the previous one. Well you could probably get by without watching season 1 as they have gotten away from it a bit, but season 2-4 seem to be a must to truely get an idea of whats going on with the characters.

Now that I think about it though, you learn so much about Jack and his family and what all he has done in season 1 that it is a must as well

Would it be worth sitting down and watching all of them you ask? YES IT WOULD!!!! Its a great show.

 

I was watching some old ones on A&E about a week ago and saw Jack steal the blue mach 1. I was impressed with his choice of cars to steal.

It's a good show and I watch it now, but I missed out on at least the first season.

and they had TONNES of Fords.

Hey pete, got to the point last night when Chloe went out in the field.. man I never knew she had it in her!

 

Chloe did rock when she was out in the field. And if I remember right, Jack had the F-150s in S4.

I CAN"T WAIT TILL THE 15th . This is the only show, that I refuse to answer my phone if I get a call. All my friends know NOT to call me on Monday nights between 9pm and 10pm. I haven't liked a show this much since the X-Files. Andy, I also say rent it, but you should rent each season starting with the 1st, to catch up. While jumping in on the show now is good, you'll understand why Jack Bauer is the person he is by seeing what he went through in the previous 4 seasons. I have seen the previews, and it looks incredible, how they picked up last. I can't wait, I can't wait. .

 

We finished S4 and watched the prequel. Man S5 is going to have alot going on I bet.

Ok so there's apperently 4 people I know of that knows he is still alive. Michelle, Tony, Chloe (sp) and Palmer.

 

Okay I put 24 on my wishlist. I'm gonna have a bit of catching up to do so bear with me.

 

I can't wait!!!!! I got addicted last season.

MAybe they won't cancel 24 like they did reunion- you know they gotta make space for "skating with the stars"

 

Don't worry April, 24 is one of Fox's BIGGEST money makers in terms of advertising, plus it constistanly in the top 20 in programming. That show is going to be on for however how long they want to let it go. It si my fav, and IMHO the best show on TV. Now only 9 days till Season 5.
