Doesn't look like the Walmart in Hudson will have them soon since they haven't sold much of the WRX, Jeep or Viper.

You can order a metal version, for about $50. I have one and will keep that in a box. I will look for a plastic one to play with.

I transformed my plastic one and keep the die-cast in it's car-mode. Here they are together:

As Kluski mentions above me, the american release that you can get at Walmart and other stores is plastic. The link provided on the first post of this thread is for the die cast metal version (japanese). I myself just ordered the diecast japanese version. B)

I saw a picture of a white 05 stang with blue stripes that is supposed to be released later on in the year, I believe is called wheeljack.

I got one today! The local Target finally got them in. They only had one though, lucky me. I hid the other one they had in the store for Nolanzdad.

It took me over an hour to turn the thing into a robot and back into a car. I'm even a mechanical engineer. The front of the car is the hardest to figure out. The thing goes back together kind of sloppy, the fitment between the body panels isn't great. I'm sure the metal one is better.

They're not out yet--not until next month.

:
But let me know how long it takes you to go back to the original Car from Robot mode
I second that I bought one at Wal Mart. A couple of weeks ago... It was a major chore to get it back the way it came. I was really wishing I had not converted it to the robot... :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang:
[/b][/quote]

Yea i got mine it took me 25 min to turn it into a robot and 2 hours to change it back.

As previosly mentioned, I bought two at the same time.
I do not see the transformed one going back to a car anytime soon.

I just got in the mail the diecast version which I bought off ebay! Very cool. It took me 45 minutes to transform it! And only 20 minutes or so to put it back. I also have the original grimlock which is cool!
