went to the tokyo motor show a couple weeks ago. i also got to sit in the gtr. while i questioned some of the design elements at first, when you see it in person, it actually looks really good.

While I appreciate your view there is no way anything will make that car look better to my eyes. From the rear it isn't bad, but the front looks like an anime rendition of a really ticked off Japanese toaster. And the inside looks like Nissan designers went dumpster diving and found the control panel from the 20 year old microwave I recently threw out. Aesthetically pleasing this car is not.

WTF? So you have to hit the dealership whenever you need some air in your tires? Ive never even heard of this, are any other cars doing this?
Naw, a few places offer it, and its available at every Costco Wholesale. Nitrogen should become the universal fill for tires, it may not amount to much of a fuel savings per vehicle, but when you consider the entire US fleet, it might help save a barrel or two of crude. (this mainly from the fact that properly sealed, the tire loses very little pressure over time)

Tire pressure is the #1 problem with tires now'a days, it should be checked at least monthly, if not every week. Next up are rotations, if people would regularly inflate and rotate tires, they could save some serious bucks.

If it were between a GT-R and and Z06, the deciding factor for me would be the fact that there is only one GT-R, when you see one rolling down the street, you say "O, Thats a GT-R." When you see a Z06 on the street, you think its just another vette, with only the enthusiasts knowing the difference. Same deal with a GT500. I know its a little more expensive, but I would take an 08 Viper over either of them in a heartbeat.

viper!? no one talks about that car anymore...i think it died in the 90's

but between the GT-R and z06 I would choose...the GT-R. It's flashier than the z06. and for $70k I hope ppl notice me.

I'd rather take the Z06, thanks. 505 horsepower WITHOUT any forced induction...

... and AWD is for wimps anyways.

GT-R is an impressive effort in replicating a video game in much the same way the EVO-X is, but IMO they dull down the driving experience. These cars dont require any effort on the drivers part to get big numbers or even be bothered to even learn how.

If the GT-R/EVO-X represent the future of high performance automobiles, count me out.

Unlike all the vette owners/lovers i need a car that can fit more than 2 people so the GT-R would offer something a little more useful even if it's just to get the kids to daycare! At least we'll have fun getting there, GT-R for me! Besides the Z06 needs some competition in that price range, Just like the Mustang needs some competition to make Ford stay on it's toes.
