Is Your Chrysler Product Falling Apart?

This might have something to do with it.

Yeah, I really want to drive a car that had the braking or steering system installed by a guy that just pounded a 40oz. and smoked a doobie.

Why not? Your contractor, plumber, electrician, etc. have a few beers sometimes, and your lawyer, doctor, congressman and senator have 2 or 3 martini lunches... and probably most of the above enjoy a scooter now and again.
Hell in many states they take their 'medicine' like a good patient should.

And I took salesman of the year in the 80's behind a bottle of visine (back when I used to partake).

Glad my Chrysler was made in Toluca Mexico though...

But isn't their lunch their own time?

We should have never bailed them out. I know these are only a handful of the workers, but we should have never bailed them out.

Obama's speech was incorrect. These people would not necessarily be out of jobs if we had not bailed them out. They would have went into bankruptcy and things would have been worked out. But we went against a hundred years of contract law and bailed them out and said F.U. to the creditors. The unions got preferential treatment, big surprise. I'm amazed this story even saw the light of day in Detroit. The reporter probably has a UAW bounty on his head already.

Actually, no. My 2006 Charger has been a great car. It's 4 1/2 years old and I made my first visit to the dealer for a repair last week. It was just a small transmission fluid drip and they fixed it in less than an hour. Other than that, absolutely no issues.

I'd just like to point out, these losers just got caught. While certainly not the norm for any business -and to play devil's advocate -I'm sure a large percentage of us know people like this in just about every job situation. I'd be willing to bet real money some of the cars we own were put together by somebody intoxicated.

The only way to cure this sort of problem would be to institute daily drug tests (and when discoved call the approprite authority, making sure the staff knows the repurcussions for doing so) when they first sign in and to place the employees in a controlled area for thier meal periods and provide food/drink for them.
