Yikes: Another $1,000 off on Toyota Tundra
I guess the "truck that's changing everything" isn't selling quite as well as they hoped. Here's the story. On top of that, the new Tundra only gets a four star rating in crash tests. It sounds like Toyota still has some work to do.

I've seen one on the road, it was moving, I wasn't. I've never really liked this truck, and it seems clear to me that the buying public doesn't either. I can't think of any American alternative that I wouldn't take over this truck.

I was reading a comparo of this truck vrs a Chevy Silverado 1500 with their 5.3 in Road and Track. One thing it doesn't lack is power. They stated that they couldn't get the thing to hook no matter what they did. When it was all said and done, they said 2 things that stuck in my mind:
1) The only trucks ever on the road faster than this thing are the Lightning and the SRT-10
2) In the end, the Silverado can't be beat for value against this truck.
Score one for Chevy. Can't believe I'm happy about this.

I have seen ZERO around here and my local Yoda dealers lot is filling up fast. Toyota needs to stop hiring the blind to design their cars and make this truck more affordable.
