Worst car you've ever owned?

Ahh... everyone has to have a beater once in their lifetime.
My first car was a hand-me-down 1986 K-Car 2-door from my mom.
It was a gorgeous burgundy color that matched all the rust creeping around the wheelwells.
When I inheirited it, it had been clipped on the passenger side fender. My mom took the cash and I took a 4lb sledgehammer and banged it out so that it was pretty straight. There were holes on either side of the floor and in the front wheel wells. I spent an entire afternoon patching them up and then saucing the whole thing with undercoat.
I learned how to drive on that POS... I crashed a snowbank trying to drift it in the winter... no damage done..... I beat on that thing hard... I took it to its maximum speed of 85MPH a few times... a little tough with the windows open though.
I finally had all the bugs worked out. I replaced the brakes, tuned it up, patched up the holes. The car actually ran really well. 9 days after it passed its emission test, my sister drove it HARD into another car. She was ok, so was the other person, but both cars were write-offs. I was actually mad about it... all that work for nothing.

I had a '83 Olds Cutlass Supreme in high school. Got it brand new. Man that car was good looking for its time. It looked good, but man was it a piece of crap. Also had a '79 Toyota Celica. That thing was a beater, but I could'nt tear it up and God knows I tried. We would get some bum to buy us beer , then we would get loaded and chase cows on the levee in that thing. It's a wonder we lived to see 18.

The worst car I ever owned would have to be an '85 Honda Accord. It had zero power, a stereo that only worked intermittently (same for the wipers), broken down seats and a very smelly interior. Worst part was in the winter. The car was carbed and on any day the temp was 32 degrees or colder, the carb would ice up and the car would stall!! I would have to let the car warm up in the morning and then drive with the heat off to keep the carb from icing. It was quite a sight to see, me bundled up behind the wheel with ice forming on the inside of the windows. I had to use an ice scraper....on the inside!! I sold the car when I got the first opportunity....in the summer!!

I had a brown oxidized AMC Gremlin. I paid $400 bones for the POS. It had a straight 6 and ran great. The headlight would bounce everywhere except on the road and the brakes would leak like crazy. I drove it until the leaf springs broke, the tire blew, and I drove it home with sparks flying everywhere in the middle of the night.
I had a grey primered 68 datsun pickup truck that I used to jump in highschool. Another POS but it beat walking.
I've never had a car that I didn't pay for. I quess that's why they were all POSs when I was younger.
I treat my cars a little better these days.

My worst car was a 1975 250ci Camaro. The thing was 5 different colours and 3 different years body panels. it only fired on the front 3 cylinders. I thought I could fix it up.....how wrong I was. I sold it for £350 5 years ago, saved up and bought my '72 Mustang

My first car: a hand me down '83 Ford Escort..no A/C, no power-steering, AM radio. But it got me through high-school, college, and my first 2 jobs. It still runs to this day - but it was sold last year. As much as I hated it, I miss that piece of junk.
