Very interesting idea. At $2 a fill up, you can't go wrong. I wonder how much infrastructure there will be for the car though, it sounds like it needs a special filling station with high pressure air. I'm sure those air compressors won't be cheap!!

DIRT cheap when compared to the traditional gasoline infrastructure, though.

I saw this on futurecars on discovery HD a couple months ago, I wonder if it will make its way over here?

Why do all the zero emission cars have to be so blankety-blank ugly?

Are you kidding me, it would be a tripple fatality if two people were driving and hit a bicyclist, unless the guy on the bike had a helmet of course.

Yeah, that is just what I want to do when I am traveling through BFE. Sit at some gas station in the middle of nowhere for 4 hours to refill my tank. I could see this being a great car for in town/city use. Probably not so great for longer stretches of road unless there is significant investment in infrastructure.

You could always put in a gas compressor in the back, of course they put out 5 times the emissions of a normal car though....

I think it might have great potential. Why all the negative feedback?

How about the braking system being integrated into a compressor, sort of like regenerative braking on a hybrid?
