Very interesting idea. At $2 a fill up, you can't go wrong. I wonder how much infrastructure there will be for the car though, it sounds like it needs a special filling station with high pressure air. I'm sure those air compressors won't be cheap!!

DIRT cheap when compared to the traditional gasoline infrastructure, though.

I posted about my feelings, Im not giving up the stang, or the 2500HD crew cab. But i would drive **** out of it and save more money for mods! Wonder if anyones making mods for it yet, we could get the craze happening in India ya know! may just be hot air, but hey its cool!

Yeah, that is just what I want to do when I am traveling through BFE. Sit at some gas station in the middle of nowhere for 4 hours to refill my tank. I could see this being a great car for in town/city use. Probably not so great for longer stretches of road unless there is significant investment in infrastructure.

You could always put in a gas compressor in the back, of course they put out 5 times the emissions of a normal car though....

How about the braking system being integrated into a compressor, sort of like regenerative braking on a hybrid?
