winter tires question
I bought a 2013 mustang and the tires on in are 215/65/17 I am looking to purchase winter tires. I got a price for 225/65/17 I want to know if these would fit without touching the wheelwells?
Thank you for any input.

Yes they should be fine -- assuming you are putting them on the original wheels, not different wheels which might have wrong offset.
However a wider tire is not better in the snow, generally narrower is better, because it bites in rather than riding up on top of the snow. That said, 225 is not crazy wide and should be fine.
You might consider a set of winter wheels and tires; this protects your good wheels from the winter mess and makes it much easier to change them in the fall and the spring. If you look on Craig's List or eBay you might be able to find some used wheels cheap; and if you're really lucky, you might find a set that already has snow tires on it. (I have done it twice -- bought full set of lightly used wheels and snow tires for $500 or less)
