What would be very good winter tires for the Mustang 2005 ?
I think I should order the winter tires soon, I guess they are not very common tires.

I have been quoted Pirelli Winter 210, anything else to consider?

BTW, I am still waiting to get my production date.... I have placed my order on november 1st. GT, torchred.

I have bought Toyo Observe GO2+, 215/60/17... I will be able to tell you next year If I like them... B)

But I think 215/60/17 is a good size for winter and it s seems that these tires were very good on ice and snow... and there are cheaper than Pirelli or Michelin X-Ice.
I have pay approx 600$ (not installed).... And I am still looking for rims....

Good luck !

I am suppose to be getting my 05 GT in the 1st or 2nd week of December. I am planning on getting some 225-55-17 Pirelli Winter 210's. Those were recommended to me. I have them on my current car as well and I have never had any problems.

So, we do not need to use the same size as the original 235/55/17 tires?

I am kinda newby in winter tires...

You can change the size (it is preferable to decrease the width of the tire for the winter) but you have to stay within a ±3% diameter change.

There is some website that you can use to see the change in diameter...

You can try this one...

A guy from the service at Leblanc Ford (I don't remember his name...) has ordered 4 rims for me... black one from I don't know where...
If you don't found some give a call to Leblanc Ford (450-691-4130).

I put Michelin X-Ice 235/55/R17's on my car and they work great in the snow. Really good on hard packed snow and ice as well. Very happy with them so far.
