The Corvette is probably my favorite car, it's the car I aspire to own one day.

BUT I've noticed that any modifications for Vettes are EXTREMELY expensive.

I have never liked corvettes that much until the C6 came out.

GM really did somthing right creating a new model with more power and less weight(which is a rarity these days) and keeping the price the same.

I was wondering what would it cost to have a Mustang match Vettes performance? Or is the Vette untouchable?

I guess it doesn’t matter; the vette just doesn’t fit our family.

 

As an all around performer the Vette will always be one or more steps ahead, though you could mod a Mustang to match it on the strip fairly easily--unless the Vette is cammed...

So basically, Corvettes and Mustangs both rock hard core in their respective classes and at their respective price levels.

eh, Good luck, its too bad you crossed over though. One thing though, what inspired you to buy a 2005 with that many miles??

 

I didn't see it mentioned.....it has a Manual Tranny, correct?
