I have an 05 GT premium auto with 12kmiles on it. I traded it in for a 05 corvette with 19k miles on it. I got 24k for my trade. vette was 43k. it has nav system, dual power seats, dual climate control, tinted blue glass removable roof, heads up display( displays speed and tach on windshield), active handling system, bose system,push button start without a key, HID's, 285/35 19's on the rear! and of course 400hp and 400tq! This car is amazing. it drives so nice. i was very satisfied with the purchase and I got what i wanted for my stang 24k. 2 of my bros just got vettes before me. oldest got a red 05 convertible, other got a silver 06 coupe. So 3 of 4 brothers all have vettes. I am going back tomorrow to take my C and L intake off . I have doug's tunes in the sct xcalibrator 2. I will try to sell it to my friend who has an auto gt also. If he doesn't buy it i will have it up for sale here...awesome tunes. intake and tuner for $500.best bang for your buck mod. You guys were great on this board. I learned alot here and will still visit ever so often.

Vettes are nice, had one myself (92 LT1). But, I've had three Mustangs, +1 at the end of the month, so I'm loyal to the Blue Oval.

i love my 06GT for many reasons...
but the C6 is a pure near perfect car!!!!

That's what I love about. it's like everything i want in a car. It's like a dream come true..a pure sports car..it's sexy the way it is. I'm not thinking about..hmm what can I do to make it look better? like wheels, possibly lower it, front spoiler...kind of stuff..The vette looks killer and mean as is.

 

Superb car for sure! I had a 62' I restored from the ground up and loved her to death. No HUD, but she was still a great machine... I love the color on your new car! Like you said, it's killer just the way it is.
Having said that, I would never give up my baby...
To me, my car is more than beauty and HP - it's what I remember drooling over as a kid, what I wanted as a teenager, and now have as an old man of 47! For me it's not about a sports car, it's about THE Mustang! Not about to start up the old "is it a sports car" debate... :0

Wow I love your new Vette. I sat in a yellow 06 Z06 at the car show tonight and it was awesome. If I only had $70k but I don't so a Stang it is for me!

 

I'd probably own a Vette if I could afford one. Nice color too. Have fun being the king of the road, not much can touch you out there.

Amen bro...I had 3 Corvettes in the past, I came back to Mustangs as well. I just couldn't shake the fun that I had with my SVO. I sold my 1990 ZR-1 Corvette to purchase my Stage 3 Roush, its much more fun to drive.

 

i do love corvettes, ive driven a few....but the fun i get from my mustang just is over the top. nice car tho. if i had the money a new z06 would have been mine

I still love mustangs. I wish I could afford both. I would of never traded it for anything but on 05 or newer vette. my neighbor has the previous generation and the inside is very cheap. this new one though is so much more advanced than the others in every way. If you drive in a new one you will know what I"m talking about. I will still be a mustang fan though and never call them rustangs.
