Toyota to recall 533,000 SUVs, trucks
1) Sick of all the back and forth nonsense about powerplants...and it seems pretty clear that all it will get is a very modest HP increase (which I can easily do to a GT);
2) It sounds like the cosmetic changes are going to be minimal;
3) Generally I like DHG, but in the few pics where I've seen it on the S197 body style I haven't found it flattering at all.
4) Ever since first seeing the GT in Redfire, I've loved the car in that color - every time I see one on the road, all polished up, I do a double-take;
5) I'm tired of waiting and all the options I wanted are finally here (like NAV) so I'm going to go for it now because this is the last year for Redfire.
Once I ruled out the Shelby (just can't get them around here) it's been down to a Bullitt or Redfire GT for sometime. And I've now ruled out the Bullitt for the following reasons:
1) Sick of all the back and forth nonsense about powerplants...and it seems pretty clear that all it will get is a very modest HP increase (which I can easily do to a GT);
2) It sounds like the cosmetic changes are going to be minimal;
3) Generally I like DHG, but in the few pics where I've seen it on the S197 body style I haven't found it flattering at all.
