That is exactly what I thought at first glance. The bed-sides and rear cab fairly reek of the Ridgeline and, were it not for the Toyota badge on the grille, my initial assumption wouldhave been that this is a CRV based baby brother to that truck.

Thus far the only hybrid pickup I've seen that might actually have a crack at generating some decent sales is the Dodge Rampage concept. That thing actually looked pretty good, and would likely be more than enough for those who basically want a car with a bed.

Toyota BAT-Y

I used to love Toyota's in the '80s - but now it seems as though everything they touch sucks.

I'm gunna have to agree with burningman, I do like it as far as styling goes....but it reminds me too much of the Ridgeline. It seems as though Toyota lost any originalty in its design department on this one. My only thing I would change on it is to make the front nose a few inches longer.....and I love the roofline for some reason.

and I do see the warthog a little bit too

Actually, I like the looks of the Tundra...but it's built like a POS.

I think it has some potential for the future but I prefer some more old school looking trucks IMO.

That high hip line makes it look like an automotive Steve Urkel.
