The Guinness book just certified the Venom as the fatest accerating production car in the world. It has a V-8 and is considered a production car and makes 1244hp...which is more than the GT-500. So I'm thinking both the venom and the agera are production cars.
But ehh I guess I could be wrong.

TG USA has pretty much jumped the shark for me. Just how freaking stupid do they think car guys are? Do they think we don't go to races and such? They were supposedly going Charlotte Motorspeedway to camp in the infield with challenges on the way.
I think they said 120 miles from the campground. Well, their first stop on the way there they said was 70 miles to Z-MAX drag strip. Then they left there going 20 miles to their next challenge (on their way to Charlotte Motorspeedway). When they got there, they said they were only 15 more miles away from the final destination at Charlotte Motorspeedway.
Only one problem with that. Z-Max dragway is right next door to Charlotte Motorspeedway, and I mean literally right next door. Next door as in you can see one from the other. Just a big parking lot and a dirt track between them.
Don't insult my intelligence that badly.

To get an American car that performs at least as well as the Mustang, you'd have to spend at about twice as much.
Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Shelby GT500: $60K
Corvetter ZR1: $120K
Viper: $140K

I finally had some free time to watch the newest episode.
I don't think Jeremy said anything bad on the Shelby, he's just being Jeremy. It was pretty funny when he said "I woke up few people in Sheffield" (which is like 160 miles from London where Jeremy was at).
I don't think that majority of Europeans will ever understand what makes muscle cars so special.
On the other hand, you can put an American behind the wheel of let say Alfa Romeo GTV and they probably wouldn't understand what made that car so special ...

The next episodre is currently airing here in the UK and JC and crew mentioned the GT500 episode has caused quite a stir!
He went on to mention the next gen car will be available in the UK in RHD........with no V8 but a 2 litre ecboost (close, JC, it'll be a 2.3, but I'll let that pass).
However, he did say, in dispair...
"Nobody wants a 2 litre ecoBoost in a bloody Mustang"
Can't argue with him there

I think there is a big difference between what people "want" and what they will actually buy ... They might wanna a V8 Mustang, but I doubt many people in Europe would buy it (not just a V8, but also any other Mustangs) ...

Have yet to watch the most recent episode. But, despite his gripes about the GT500 in the last episode I'm afraid I have to agree with him. It was the French's fault he lost that challenge.

since we don't have much on TG US - tonights episode demonstrates what I don't like about them. They have a reasonable segment with the 150mph cars.
Then they have the new Bugatti Veyron, and act like its a struggle to get that thing to 200mph. The car isn't going to struggle to put on speed until 225+.
