They also didn't use the full track. I'd guess the reasoning is that the large track has big straights and the stang would have been right on it...althought the lotus would have smakked it once the twisties hit.

ya it definitely was pretty tight. I thought that was a pretty funny comparison though, cool idea. Basically take two completely opposite cars... one super light with a tiny engine and one big heavy car with a huge V8. I agree with you Doug about the longer track, probably woulda brought the stang a bit closer.
The cool wall is hilarious. Like they totally bash some cars you'd expect them to love, like the new XK, or the elise, or the Ford GT... its funny.
Still haven't finished watching the show though... gotta get on that.

And seeing Hammond and May driving around in JC's modified S-Class was the best laugh I've ever had watching TopGear!
