It was back last night. The stig crashed a brand new Koenigsegg CVX!!

Well worth downloading, they haven't lost any of their touch!

 

I thought the setting fire to the car wash was great!!

I was there waiting for the torrent after the show was on. I didnt get to see it till today though.

loved it, I'm so addicted.

 

From what i understand they are going to show 4 episodes then take a 6 week break then show the rest

 

ya, i heard the same doug. Taking a break for soccer. Ya, that was a great episode. I thought that van was actually pretty sweet, like you could have 7 people sitting together in an open air vehicle, talk about fun for cruising around town. But ya, then they put on their own roof and it got pretty ****ty. That scene with the car wash, running away like that reminds me of my high school days.

 

Best line of the show "I've got a people carrier, I'm a bit of a Piddington"

Indeed, there is the small matter of the World Cup to get out of the way, mid-series

 

I saw the second half of it too, loved the Espace in the car wash and the Koenigsegg crash!
Great that they're back on, even if for just 4 weeks.

 

I thought one of the funniest parts was immediately after pulling hte roof off the espace. They all just look outside and agree.... it's time to go for a ride. seemed like the same exact thing my friends and i would do.

That crash was unreal. Lucky the stig controlled it enough to get it to the side, and not lose it at the apex of their track with the REAL BIG tire wall.

You got to love Christian von Koenigsegg thought. Jeremy told him what happened, and also told him that the Stig could shave 4 seconds off the lap time,with some more downforce. Christian (the company owner) said he's going to put on a large wing on the rear of the car, to help downforce, and ship it back to Top Gear for another run around their track. Now that's a car guy who doesn't mind his $700,000 car getting crashed. That car is the offcial U.S. version that will be imported. Can't wait for the CCX to arrive here soon, I got to see one in person.

you know, I think he actually liked the Z06...

but lets face it, any car that has been seriously abused on the track is likely to run a bit rough afterwards!
