so my friend and i were driving around yesterday with nothin realy to do. i drove past the local dodge dealer and spotted a new chargers out on the lot. so we pull in and start to poke around. i start lookin at a dark blue hemi r/t. i get in and at first im pretty impressed. the interior materials have a nice feel to them as well as the fit and finish. the interior space was a decent size. it was interesting driving a full size sedan with such a low roof line. so then the salesman finally noticed us and came over to give me the usuall rigamoroll. He brings back the keys and we go for a test drive. the car was quiet and felt solid on the road. it had a nice exhaust note to it. i gave it some gas and it felt quich, but nothin to knock my socks off. after a 10 minute drive we got back to the dealer. i get out and notice in the sunlight that the plastic bumpers are a whole shade lighter than the metal on the body. thats somthin that would **** me off if i owned the car. for 34k dollars i dont think its worth it. the styling is boring and im sure in a year the car will be worth nothing. so i procede to give the salesman a fake number so he wont keep bugging me to come back and buy that thing. IMO the charger isnt the greatest redesign. i give it a :notnice:

Maybe I'll go look at one tomorrow. When I pull up in my 05, the sales guys will wonder?

I think that dodge did a pretty good job on it. dont like the rims and tire combo at all. IMO, american car companies need more cars with at least the attempt at a competant 4 door. Mopar and Cadillac are at least trying.

I would like to see ford offer a 4 door car with some excitement, maybe something based on the lincoln LS platform (I owned a 2000 LS, great car). instead of the wimpy 500 with a weak v6. the Marrauder came close, in principle, but just resembled the crown vic too too much. just my 2cts

It's a nice car, true, but the styling doesn't do much for me. Better than the GTO, but I think this car deserves more.

34K huh? That's a lot of money for a car!

The Chargers just don't do anything for my personally. The grill just doesn't cut it, and the price is just horrendous.
