Since I'm getting the Mustang, Im thinking
As much of a gm hater that i am, they need all the purchases they can get right now. A company like that goin bankrupt would be devistating to our economy.
If ya like it, and she likes it, why not? (i do believe they are cheaper than mustangs too)

Nice. But, is it what she really wants (i.e. an expressed wish)? Its always dangerous to surprise with something she may have never even considered
Maybe she'd like a 'Vert Mustang herself?

You know her better than anyone.
I like the the vert stang idea.
Good luck.
And if she doesn't take you up on the offer I will gladly take her place.

Agree with others here, get her what SHE wants regardless of the make or model. You are getting what you want, and she is getting what she wants.
I made the same offer to my wife since I am getting a new Shelby. She loves PT Cruisers, but god love her she is so practical, she declined a new car since hers is only a few years old!!
And no, I don't want a replacement!!

wait for the Saturn Sky, it's WAY hotter looking and the interior will be nicer. even better...the Sky Redline.
have you seen a Kappa car in person though? their trunk space is...a joke to say the least. only the smallest duffle bag will fit, and the top operation is very awkward. sky might have a power top - but else test it out since it'll be a paint to deal with everyday.
however, RWD and near 50/50 distribution, as well as a spunky motor in a relatively light car should make for some fun. plus they're pretty rare...

I know, with the top down there's like 1-1/2 cubic feet of trunk space. Not as if she would be grocery shopping with it though. That's what the minivans for. K, is that you in your avatar?

Overall I still think the new Miata is a better car overall if you really have the 2-seater bug.
The new Kappa twins look really good.. but they lack those little bits of refinement to make them anything more than a toy.

What he said. We need a front shot of you.
i think for what it is, its not bad
i would look at the new miata, they're sposed to be really nice
getting rave reviews
and have a little more to them
but if thats what she want, at least she wants something with character (spunk, w/e)
just make sure you dont need to try and go anywhere regularly in the snow

I have a mustang logo belt buckle

Now that's a funny line.
Okay, Going_Gray, now that a member of the fairer sex has braved to make an appearance here, we'll never get our question answered until things calm down for these poor deprived fellers.
My only guess as to what it is, is it looks to be some kind of wheeled machine of some sort, could be a plastic model or prototype R/C car, or an elaborate serving tray. I've also heard tales of small sailing boats that sport a rounded stern like that, but no mast is in sight on that vessel and the keel looks to be flat. Don't know, rightly.
