Good post there Mark. Its amazing how people are bashing Ford for how much the car weighs, but for how little it costs (MSRP). Lets all be real here people. When the Nissan GT-R comes to market, the price is rumored to be in the mid $70,000 range. This goes to show you, that technology costs $$$$. And plus, you WILL have every Nissan dealer marking the heck out of the MSRP. If anyone really thinks you'll be able to find one of these for list, (unless you have a Nissan dealer in your back pocket), these cars could reach north of $100,000, and that wouldn't suprise me in the least.

Forget all previous cars and buy a Bugatti Veyron. You know thats value for money and will destroy all.

It actually is, Buggati buyers get their cars for about 1/3 what it costs VW to make them.

I in no way disagree with this. I just do not see why there is such huge hype over this car. Unforunately I was not nearly as enthused when the 03 Cobra came out, so I can't compare. But was there really this much "stupid money" spent on a Cobras? I am no less a fan of American muscle than anyone else here. I just think the next step should be weight loss, not horsepower gains, something that imports seem to do well at. Not just Japanese imports either, think Lotus. Mustangs I see as my favorite car. Domestic is held a lot higher in my book than import, just as a personal preference. I could deal with less horsepower, less comfort if it meant lower weight, ie. having a million speakers within what a couple feet of eachother. What we need is a GT350, a stripped down, NA speed demon who can take corners as well as being a straight line beast.

Sorry if I offended anyone with my comment, I did not mean to degrade the Mustang, or Ford as a whole. We all know that Ford is going to need something new, better than the competition. Now we have the luxury, high speed in style. Let's go for the gold, take the lead.

GT 350, come fast, we have a Nissan to kill.

I'm sorry I'm just a die-hard American car lover. I have respect for anyone who would/could like that car, but to me it's just ugly and not worth my attention.

How do either of you have any clue? The new Skyline isn't even finished yet.
