ok, we went and rented a focus for a trip..these plans were shot to heck and back....anyways, before i go on, i would like to say that the focus is an amazing little machine

well, im gettin ready to shop for my first car, and, who wouldnt want to start out with a piece of american muscle? anyways, i already got my first car, the family cruiser, a 2001 Grand Am.....heavy car + small engine = GM, need i say more?

anyways, theres this VERY small lot in town where ive seen everything from Chargers to AMX's, but, today something pulled my eyes to the left, there was a yellow 1963 Thunderbird there for $3000 thats when it hit me, 3 grand? i began to wonder if there was an engine in it....so, peeps, cani get opinions? suggestions? warnings?

thanks!

woops! driver witness, it was a 1962, not 63

A 19623 Thunderbird isn't exactly muscle.

Any pics? I suggest you go look at the car bumper to bumper, inside and out, because a car that's 43 years old can be quite damaged if you don't look hard enough. And for 3 grand it doesn't sound too cherry. Buyer beware.

I'd drive the Grand Am, smash it into a tree, and collect the insurance from it. JK

And it cost 15 times more than T-Bird we're talking about.
