It's really starting to grow on me. I can't wait to see one in person. Hopefully it looks a lot better than the F430/Gallardo, or at least fairly different.
I notice that about a lot of modern designs (from the '90s onward); some cars look really good from some angles but crappy from others. I guess that what makes a timeless, classic design-- it looks good from any angle (GT40, '65 Mustang, Miura, Ferrari 365 GTB, '63-67 Stingray, etc)
Nice PicS5!!!!

I just saw it in person today........the paintjob is the absolute best ive ever seen. like just incredible. The overall car was great looking, much better in person. Oh, and it can also run on E85, you know just in case you wanna like save the world with it too = )
Hmm, the more I look at it, I think it looks like an amalgamation of a F360/F430 (front), Gallardo, R8, and even hints of Ford's GT90 concept car (rear, 3/4). Still hasn't grown on me yet. That engine shot from the link posted by Topnotch - is the S5's engine based off of the 3V 4.6? Looks like there's possibly a "reversed" Saleen SC inlet arrangement similar to a Ford GT, or is that from another vehicle? Would like to see it in person.
I dont like how it doesnt have a look on its own...an identity if you will.....you know how some cars just cannot be confused with others....maybe it needs scallops like the S7...there are not enough scoops on that car to be noticeably a Saleen.
Granted I think the car is really great looking, especially after seeing it in person.....I have to agree with you on it not really having its own identity. That is something the S7 definitely had. This car on the other, while beautiful, doesnt have any features that really distinguish it from the other supercars

Is this completely taking the S7's spot, or is it still going to continue production?
