Since Molly has taken over, she seems very focused on the Mustang performance market more than anything.

But, then again who knows....

 

If it shakes out, it would be an interesting counterpoint to the Gallardo

 

Saleen has Chris Theodore, who retired from Ford as Vice President, Advanced Product Creation and now is Saleen's Vice Chairman and Chief Technical Officer. Theodore is known as the father of the Ford GT:

"I have many ideas," he told TheCarConnection.com, "and some of them are inspired by the Ford GT. That car sold very well for around $150,000. So why not think in that direction when we talk about a new supercar? May be an S3 or an S5?"

Hey Andy, Molly didn't take over. She runs the Saleen retail store out in Irvine. That new store where parts, apparel and such are purchased. She quit her job in a law office (I believe) and started working at the store. She eventually worked her way up to manager of the store. While she had created the new color Molly Pop, Chris Theodore is the guy in charge.

Saleen has announced that it will reveal its S5S Raptor concept at this year’s New York Auto Show in March.

The Saleen S5S Raptor is a high-performance supercar powered by an ethanol-based 5.0-liter supercharged engine. The Raptor concept rendering features a lightweight design, said to be of an aluminum chassis and composite exterior skin. Saleen estimates the S5S Raptor will have a top speed of over 200 mph.

 

Bout bloody time they made a supercar that is actualy good looking

 

I must be one of the few that actually likes the styling of the S7. Its not conventionally 'pretty', but they look so badass and exude so much machismo ill let it slide.
