Hello again. I have been leaving updates on the GT my dealership is getting in. I had mentioned in the past that it is NOT FOR SALE, and this is officially confirmed. Our owner wants to keep it, at least for a year, and maybe more. We will get alot of traffic from people wanting to see it. I have left this post for a specific reason.
The GT we are getting just got an official schedule date. The date it gets built is the first week in October, the week of the 4th
. So I would assume that it should arrive IMO around the last week of October, or early November, if they ship it as soon as it is built. My hope is that when it arrives, that the enclosed transport is full of GT's and I can take video of the whole event.
In case anyone wonders, the car is Torch Red, with the McIntosh stereo, Red calipers, and the standard wheels, and White stripes. Can't wait for it to arrive.
I promise to let you all know what dealer I am from once it arrives. Until then, I still want to be a little low key. B)

sweet! tell me you're from montreal! Like i said in some unrelated post somewhere else on this forum, i dreamt that i saw the GT for the first time last night, and then i saw it again and again. I was quite amazed that the first day i ever saw a gt, i saw three of em separately. And then i realized it was a dream. One of them was an interesting colour though, silver with burgundy stripes.
05fordgt - or anyone else, do you know if any canadian dealers will get a GT?

Some monkey business about bumper regs or something... its a shame, because I was planning on winning the lottery soon.

Hey karpro, the car is not for sale. The owner of the dealership wants to keep it. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for him and our place. This way, I may get to drive it
maybe. Mustang_sallad, I am not in Montreal, I am in the states. Once it gets here, I will let you know where I am from. Thanks for the enthusiasm guys. Can't wait for it to arrive.

That's strange. They can't sell it in Canada, but they can sell it here??
Galaxie, when you win the lottery on your pre-planned date, is there no chance you can get a personal import? you can always try to "grease the wheels" with a bit of your winnings.
