New Subaru WRX Concept

It's OK. The roof line reminds me of a Olds Alero/Pontiac Grand Am sedan though. Wonder what manner of sorcery was used to get the AWD setup to work with that short front overhang given how Subaru normally has the engine ahead of the front wheels?

The low-slung hips are kinda odd, getting dangerously close to Bangle territory, and I shake my head at that scoop, but otherwise it's a pretty good look. Nice to see Subie getting some mojo back.

They spotted a WRX/STI mule testing sadly it looks nothing like the concept. Just a regular imprezza with the typical STI spoiler and Hood scoop.
What a disappointment, hope its just to test out the new platform

That would be a shame! The one at the Auto shows was very polished and appeared ready to go!

I figure I'd revive this thread and much to my dismay the 2015 WRX from supposed leaks looks nothing like the beautiful concept car. It looks pretty much like the test mules that people spotted. Despite all this B.S. about distinguishing the WRX/STI from the Imprezza the car looks like a continuation from the previous models. Take your typical Imprezza add a hood schoop, wing a body kit and you have the 2015 WRX.
The good news is that Subaru will finally add a 6 speed to the WRX, power is expected to be about the same lets hope that it is at least more fuel efficient. Despite my frustration with the direction of the car I'm still interested in it as a daily driver if the cabin is a bit more refined. The current WRX reminds me of my SN95 but in the 21st century....
What do you guys think of the 2015 WRX?

It looks better than the current model. Though I would never buy one, or any import for that matter, I like the older more square models from around 2004-ish. I'm not sure I see an SN95 there as you mention.
