Dano,
i'll find out how close it is for you,
Brad, there may be a 2-door charger in the future, there may be a coupe and convertible built on the LX platform at that plant, if so, it should be no problem putting charger sheetmetal on it.

all the cool renders i saw that kid do in popular hotrodding, and chrysler comes out with this 300 copy. im dissapointed to say the least. this car could have been designed a lot more better and could have been unique.
why make another 300c?
why name this car a charger if it does not have anything to do with the charger of old???
Daimler Chrysler should have tried making a car to go against the mustang GT and SE's, because ford right now owns that group. The Charger concept from a few years ago looks a lot better.
what could have been

concept:

How are these car makers figuring they can bring back old car names with absolutely no styling cues from the originals? The Charger is a legend, and that looks nothing like it, just as the Monaro looks nothing like the GTO. It'd be like if Ford had redesigned the Mustang and come up with the Forty-Nine concept ... yeah, the Forty-Nine's a neat car, but it's not a Mustang.
THIS JUST IN!!! The Mopar Guys absolutely hate this thing. Many of them are saying they will go with the 05 mustang. A lot had hoped it looked like the charger concept.
Most say that this is Chysler's "GTO mistake".

Dan,
apparently it is almost dead-on to the production model.
Apparantley a very stunning car, which could be lost in the green color and crease in the page. Plus it is a drawing, it can be off a bit, the proportions not right, etc.
I'll reserve judgement unitl 2006 NAIAS

Man........that's a crying shame. That truck grill is the worst thing that could happen to that car. There are so many other ways to get the cross bar pattern in there and make it cool. I'm not holding much hope for this one.
That rendering hurts me in a very deep part of my heart
As if the '80s Charger wasn't bad enough, at least it was still a coupe...this is exactly what I feared when I heard that the 300, Magnum and Charger would share the same platform...
Come on, lose the extra doors!

Guys....there will still be a Dodge Charger coupe. Don't act surprised that they have a Charger sedan as well, they reported this months ago! They have also reported that they will indeed make a coupe version....
